The case for ciders
#41
As soon as I max my outlaw's inventory (which won't happen for a while), I'll use ciders. Otherwise, I'm sticking with WE's for now.

I think it costs about 200-250mil worth of nx (I get all of my nx from the mts) to fully upgrade my inventory use slots for ciders, so that's a pretty good price for +8 atk.

Even using 48 out of 96 available slots will give me 4 hours worth of ciders; long enough for most situations.

So, I know this is not for everyone but I do know alot of people in my server that have an HS or HB mule they use while training. I personally have just an HB mule, but if I bring him on a second computer loaded with Ciders I can easily train for 4 hours. Oh, and this is using about 4-5 rows of Diamond arrows too...:f6:

Other benefit here is that HB mule reduces pot usage as I can take 2 hits per pot vs 1.5.

I love Ciders, and I used to carry them, until I started carrying around more pots. I don't carry much potions to begin with, maybe an hour and a half's worth at most. At any one time however, I'll usually have at least three or four types of HP potion, each taking up several slots in my inventory: Barbs, Satay, Chicken Rice, and any leftover Honsters from Zakum. There's also slots needed for MP and apples. I APQ regulariliy, so getting to NLC to repot isn't a prpblem, even without a NLC mule.

I used to carry Ciders on a HB mule, but since it isn't needed any more, I've switched to War Elixers.

I carry around pineapple chews. I buy them for 150k each, or 15mil for a slot full. Its costly, but thats the price of stacking ciders. They also last 7min I believe. Lately however, I haven't been finding any good chew prices. Currently I'm MTS'ing NX for the cider idea. As a NL, I only need 32 to last 4 hours.

Surprisingly, Cygnus Books are quite nice. They add +10 weapon attack for 10 minutes, and several other things as well. They are easily obtainable from training, and the quest to use them isn't that hard. The only problem is that unless you know every answer, you won't be able to use all of them. A few will be wasted. 10 attack is nice. Especially since it is free.

...How do you fail it? Most of it's common sense and very basic knowledge, even if you only skim-read through the quest.

Well, there's a trick question where they either translated the question wrong or just don't know how Cygnus works. It's something along the lines of "When the Cygnus levels up, the skill Blessing gives extra AP to the Adventurer". The correct answer is "True".

I noticed that. I raged a bit.

I find ciders better at lower levels; where you don't need that much inventory space for pots.
