Help picking a laptop

Well, I need a laptop. I need a average priced one, not too expensive, but not a crappy one. It doesn't have to be the best laptop on earth, as long as it can run MS. Can I have some recommendations and prices?

The truth is, Maple is a very old game at this point. Computers go out of date almost as soon as you buy them, and Maple could run on 2003 computers. (I know because I had a 2003 computer that ran with little lag except at FM entrance and DCd at Zakum.) Almost any computer you buy that is up to date will play Maple without trouble. Just make sure to look over the game's specs and exceed the recommended amount of processor, RAM, etc. Remember though, though RIGHT NOW you just want to play Maple, that will probably change. Buy a computer that'll serve you for a few years, not the next few moments.

My family buys Dells, but I caution you that the company's reputation has declined since they first started out. For example, my brother's lab bought 13 Dells, and they all broke down with the identical problem. However, Dell offers good repair deals, (if you can stand techs that barely speak English,) and their prices are very nice -- you should be able to get the computer you need for as little as 600 dollars if memory serves. Of course, upgrades and warranty will up that, but it still should be pretty good.

Toshiba has been selling their Satellite laptop line cheap lately, plenty of sales (totals of 500$ for everything, tax and all). I have a Satellite and I can't complain. Good price for what you get.

iBuyPower is quite cheap, or so I've heard.
