A guide to Crimson Guardian killing

In the second part of your video where you go to the bottom left corner and AE the mob above... Just wondering, might it be better to use DB to push Guards all the way to the right, hop back on the stairs, and AE from there again? Or is that too risky?
With the seal now being 100% I've found that trying to do 2+ combo attack (eg DB+Pierce, or even DB + DB) nearly always ends in you getting sealed between the 2 attacks, leaving you dangerously exposed to the guardians lethal new purple poke attack. (Its why i didnt bother in the video trying to DB the left side before deploying piercing).

Whilst the changes are annoying in some ways, I have found that this method gets me about the same exp as before. There is also the added bonus of using far fewer pots, and the maps now being all but deserted, even in x2 events.

The way you're facing on both sniping spots on the map pushes the guardians out of range. Try to face primarily right on the right side so that the guardians on the top lane get pinned (though you have to switch to left occasionally to keep the bottom lane guardians in your eruption range) and left on the left side so that you can pin the guardians into the left wall. I also think you should've explained how to lure more, even though it doesn't really matter to you seeing as how your level is high. You can lure the bottom right by just stepping to the right side of the sniping spot to blizzard and the bottom center by jumping down a step temporarily. On the bottom left sniping spot, you'd want to lure everything that's not in your attack range with blizzard, and once those are finished off, you can take the opportunity to lure the bottom center with iron arrow or DB before jumping down to head to the original sniping spot, puppeting at the bottom, of course.

Some nice refinements Cyanne, thanks.

Point taken that the video could be more detailed. The style we were looking for in the training guide series though was "short and sweet", with just the main techniques covered. Mostly players who reached this level can work all this out for themselves - they just want a few pointers to get them started.

Gold Boxes are much more rare now.

I got 4 in an hour, and 5.3m exp (149 marksman)

its not that rare, we still kinda kill slowly. There was a hero that was basically 2-3 hitting them and got 2 boxes one after another. but my guess is they may have been on 2x drop.

I don't think the drop rate has changed, I got 64 boxes during 4 hours of 2x drop yesterday. It's about the same i got during the last event.

I'm a 143 MM
