They got new management. I think the new boss kicked everyone out of their comfort zone. I can tell a marked improvement in the game.
I can almost here there boss talking. "I don't want excuses, I want results." Alot of the things that are being addressed, fix, done differently don't take much time just some care and effort.
I also wouldn't be surprised if the new boss "the new regime" has told Korean Maple to go fly a kite on some of their policies and ideas, and have begun to assert themselves more in saying here is how we are going to do it and this is what we need. If the old regime was still here I can't imagine us seeing Time Temple starting to appear as we do now. I say this because I have noticed with NLC the Maple Team has done a good job all the way through of delivering what the players want, but it hasn't translated throughout the whole game giving me the feeling that there hands have always been somewhat tied until recently.

Saying that thou, stuff planned during the pre patch said 2 dates for monster invasions we got that (been nice for gm's to apper before thou and say hi heh)
Two dates for GM Events. 1st and 14th of April. No server got planned events on the 1st <_< We'd better get some on 14th and TONS in May. I remeber when maple first started (like old gm icon etc) used to see loads of gm's
I spoke to Nethe*enter sever here* in Nov about why the few gm events in past year been ola ola/fitness and not done Snowball for example, said bugs with that (god knows how since it works before and they don't need to change anything) and would be fixed intime for Xmas... yeah right -_- we didnt even get gm events at xmas nvm snowball event.

They have been kicking it up a notch. I have not played since November, but coming back a week or so ago - I have seen quite a bit of improvements. I just hope this ends up lasting awhile... and not for a handful of months. It's actually giving me a reason to still like Nexon. With all that was added into the data during patch .67, I don't think the rest of 2009 is going to disappoint, by a long shot.

They have been improving. I wouldn't be suprised if we actually started seeing GMs in game in the next couple of months.
I think the nader of Nexon was in June '08. Not only was the patch over a day long, but it was one of the glitchiest patches we've ever had, and it took multiple server checks and an emergency patch to fix all of it. Recently, the patches have been ending on time consistently, and even when there are glitches they're addressed and fixed in a few days.

We still have a lot of stuff that needs "tidying up" like the many quests that people have finished yet is still in procress. (my ifrit quest for example heh) But they are getting there. Hopefully keep getting better.
