And none of those are single-spawn.

The only single spawn maps are crap for range. They favor one specific subset of characters. Much like the poorly designed MDs. Which was my original point. Which still stands.

I equate them to bad MD knock-offs because good MDs allow all styles of play. These do not. My point is valid, my opinion stands. It's nice that you enjoy them. They could be better since they were added "by request".
It's not having what you want - It's wanting what you've got.

I don't see why people care about this much these days. If you're getting good exp and are sniping them without element use, what does it matter?

Why do they suck if ranged characters are the ones with the skills that excel at these maps? (AoEs) By that i mean skills that can hit monsters on the top and back end of the arms. Outlaws burner + splitter can hit em, mage AoEs can hit em, rain/eruption can hit em. The only thing that can't is avenger and lucky seven, but hermits kinda suck there anyway because they don't have anything to hit at minimum range.

The only reason these maps are awesome for melee is because it's small and it's mobby and it's single spawn. That's it.

Agreed.

IsaacGS Wrote:I wouldn't say archers train there no problem, Typhons > Nightshadows at every turn, I think, but it's definitely no nightmare training there. They should really increase the distance between platforms, though, so that Nightshadows can't jump up and hit you.

The archers would have to be 4th job/115 or so. It's still not that hard, and i don't think anyone goes there for exp like they should be. They just go for the badges/GM scroll, in which case archers still have an easy time.

Why make these things jump in the first place? >_> Annoying. The spots on top are extremely unnecessary. The only thing that it's useful for is a certain skill that hits below and can freeze. Anything else and 2/4 of the monsters will hit you anyway.

Can somebody share with me what all mini-dungeons there are? Sounds mostly like 4th jobbers and up, but what about low-levels and such? Mainly 50+.

The low level mini-dungeons are already out.
Henesys Minidungeon is pigs.
Ludi/Eos Minidungeon is Drumming bunnies.
Sleepywood/Ant tunnel Minidungeon is Zombie/Horned Mushrooms.
Sleepywood Minidungeon is Mixed Stone golems.
Magatia Mindungeon #1 is Sand Rats.
Magatia Minidungeon #2 is Roids.
Leafre #1 Is all three Kentaurus.
Leafre #2 is a copy of Newties.
Leafre #3 is a copy of Skeles.

Those are all the regular minidungeons. Again, not mentioning singapore's because they're ridiculously unlikely. The last 5 aren't in GMS yet.

As a hermit, the new pure spawn maps were fun to play at. Avenger is a pain to master there, but when you do... OH MAN!

The tactic is to ignore single enemies, and focus on groups of 3-6. More are worse, too, but you can maneouver that out, too. Also, don't attack all the time. Patience is the clue there, to make mobs that take less to bring down.

I don't really train, so I have no idea if the exp is good, but well, I have fun in there, and that's all that matters for me :p
