100m seems like a lot...

In Deme's economy, how much money do most people have?
Are Zakum Helms likely to drop in price anytime soon?
What's this thing I hear about Zakum and Vista....?
Are there ways to test one's computer to see how well it handles Zakum? Being a cheap haor, 100m and 60m are a pretty hefty difference. If I know my computer'll take it... Goggleemoticon

Since Demes is a new world, everything is overpriced.

Wait a few months for the price to deflate.

Enough to pay for the helms, apparently.

Yes, as attackers get higher in level and power (run time goes down, pot costs go down), and more groups are able to run, prices will drop.

What's this thing I hear about Zakum and Vista....?

Some people, even after SP1, experience problems with Vista in Zakum. The recommended solution (that I have not personally tried) is to alt-tab out quickly as soon as the 3rd body spawns and alt-tab back.

Go on a test run. There isn't any other way you can find out. But for you to see the next few bodies, you need to go with a attacker group that will let you run with them, not just summon it with a few friends. Of course, if you had a character in another server, you can try on that character if you can find an attacker group that will run with them.

I would advise you not to risk it. Once you've paid (for the regular package, especially one run), only the nicest of guilds would grant you a resurrection if you die. And if your cat trips over the router, you're also done. I would advise getting the 2/3 runs or the VIP/effortless.

Responses bolded.

Strange disconnect glitch that makes you d/c the very second Zakum dies (prevents you from getting any drops). It's easily avoidable by simply alt+tabbing at any point during the battle before 3rd body. Playing in Windowed Mode also prevents the problem for most people.
