Spam potions when you lag/HS.

That's about all you can do.

What I have done is when ur luring you go left and then come back right. While you are coming back right, there aren't usually any himes there. So, if you tele ahead a bit you can hs your partner b4 they catch up. Also, if you want to mg just for the hs then you can right click it if you wanna continue mgless training.

playing as a priest and having lag is the worst combination ever. I almost quit my priest at one point because of that. It really can't be helped if you are having internet lag.

Considering you get rid of lag, here are some tips:

-Use heal only just after you get hit, don't hold the button.
-You can use potions on the HS delay, so you can use it and have HP potions that recover all the damage you get for that purpose.
-As said above, you can use buffs and stuff if you leave your mob behind by teleing ahead.

You could accept the meager %s at Mr.Anchors.
It should still be more than 10% per hour.Glitter

It sort of work. those bitches' fly fast and i would get hit by the ones coming form an opposite direction.. The ones that respawned If my DK partner killed some while luring. Works quite well tho.. thanks ofr the tip Big Grin

I'm sorry, but if you lag it's hard to find out a way to not die... lag is your worst enemy!

Then you aren't mobbing them right cause I was at about 12% per hour at 105 there.
Or your equips are made of barf?:f6:
Probably the mobbing.Glitter
Also if you lag at himes (I do not recommend MG the pot burn is too crazy)
and die every once per hour you are really only gaining 3% per hour.
Which is far less than anchors.
PLUS YOU MAKE MORE MONEY AT ANCHORS!Glitter

:f6: Wth, Mr. Anchors are made of fail for me. And I do mob them, but they magic attack me around... it's really annoying.

Also, who exactly are you training with at Himes to only get 13%/hour? (I'm assuming that you're LUKless because I can't imagine anyone getting 8%/hour at Himes except at like level 119.) The OP is 98. I'm 92 and even if I die three times an hour at Himes (I'm low-LUK so that's minus a bit over 15%), I still make at least 10%. I train with 11x-12x saders, DKs, and buccaneers, and my 16x I/L archmage friend gets a kick out of training me there for some reason.

I, too, struggle with lag at Himes. Here's what I've learned (that hasn't already been said):
-Even if the cause of your lag is mostly your internet, getting rid of other causes can be the difference between life and death. So defrag your computer, don't run background programs when MS is running, delete extra crap to get more space, and try decreasing your graphics quality.
-If you feel a lag spike start, MG. No questions asked. You can right click it when you feel safe again.
-Try to HS away from Himes so you'll have less chance of pot lag killing you.
-Don't try to chat. =x I know. It hurts.

You will die a lot when you start Himeing, no matter what. That's why I'm glad I started in my low 8x, so losing % wasn't so bad. Once you get used it, you won't die so much.

Lag or no lag you can Hime, unless the lag is so ridiculous that you cannot train efficiently. Most people advise to train MG-less, but I personally never did this. The room for error MG-less is almost non-existent, and casting HS is not easy. If you cast MG, your pot costs are greater, but at lvl 97 you will rarely die.

Also, if you are having lag issues at Himes, you SERIOUSLY need autopot. Buying a brown kitty and pouches is not that much. Himes hit hard, but autopot is autopot. I've lagged for like 10 seconds, it subsided and I was alive.

Going to a place like Himes without autopot, safeties, and MG is a recipe for extreme frustration. I believe you are getting frustrated for the same reasons most people would in your place.

In addition to all this, try to find a similar lvl Dragon Knight. Hyper Body makes Himes infinitely more manageable, and Himes are heaven for DKs, especially if they can find a priest.

I am a level 103 priest who played around at himes, well, If I'm wrong it's because I never really trained there "for real" since I leech my arch mage, but I have some tips Big Grin

1. Mob the himes into a giant mob including the whole map.
2. Make them chase you and walk up to them and SR + tele back. OR tele twice back + HS
3. Other buffs have no delay so use them when you need them

I hope my confusing post helps. That's the best I can put it lol.

*P.S. I need to stop dying too, when I play my priest I'm really lame at playing it -.-

I even trained 1-75 on this thing. How sad...

for a priest, lagging is your worst enemyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy -echos-
you either have to destroy it, or cooperate with it. when your lagging spam pots, when your not, just hime normally.

btw, 30% loss when you die? wtp?
