Yes Neo Tokyo ended up outdated after all these years but if only for its story alone it was one of the best areas in MS.

Again, right now it might be pretty outdated compared to other content like, lets say, root abyss, but back when it was released it was above average in all aspects, music, graphics, and specially story.

Apart from all the lack of a minimap (at the time) and all the other general weirdness like event drops not dropping, which made their separation from the main content apparent, places like Singapore were still pretty well-made, weren't they?

It's probably just a bunch of new incompetent people who've been making the new exclusive content in recent years.
