PB extra entrance

Do the PB extra entrance tickets work? If so how? I killed PB left via npc. Tried to use ticket by double clicking. Got message "you are allowed one more..." Then left through portal and ended up at 3 doors with no way to get another chaos marble to re enter.

There's no way to get another Marble, so there's no way to tell if they actually work or not.
