Recording programs.

What recording programs do you guaiz recommend in lieu of Fraps?
I'm trying to make a video about how god awful various opinions regarding Combat Arms, but they have blocked Fraps, and Camstudio doesn't work on Vista.

Have you tried HyperCam yet? (You might want to get a trial version or obtain a free copy with other questionable methods until you make sure it works, because this isn't from personal experience- I just hear about Hypercam a lot.)

I see a lot of Hypercam videos on youtube, but I prefer Fraps.

And Magus, Sony Vegas is a great video editor, because without it the quality from moving a giant game vid onto a tiny you-tube screen is terrible

I use Vegas for all my movies. xd

Camstudio works on my Vista... It just flashes sometimes. Try installing it again?

give SnagIt a go. It does everything from recording - real time encoding while recording to taking SSs at set intervals.
