Is he Cannon or shad?

I came across this person and I went on and check his equipment out...

I am really confused, can anvil change the appearance of weapons and 2ndary weapon?

you proabbly have the glitch where the character info you click on has your class name on it

EDIT: I have just used my gf's Xenon on a different comp to check what he is.
It still show the same equipment and Cannon Master on his job.

Rankings have him as a pirate too O.o and yeah, I see the monkey in the screenshot.

It's probably an error causing his items to show up in his eq inventory as different things. It happens from time to time with certain weapons and primarily goes unnoticed.

That's how other anviled equips are, my empress hat on my Phantom is anviled to look like a Zombie Hunter Hat, and it appears that way in my item list, however, if I equip a CS hat, the anviled hat shows up as an empress hat.

My anvilled Elemental Staff says Fiery Fox in char info with a CS item (Inari White Fox) equipped.
My anvilled Branch Nose behaves the way you just described though, looks like a nose when I equip transparent face.

I don't have enough examples to figure out what's going on though.
