Yea, this might just work.

I mean there are many people here who spends $100+ on NX/ month, doesn't matter how much you spend, how about we just stop buying NX all together to show the impact of closing down SW. I know it's kinda hard for many of you to miss the million NX event, or have no cloth but just do it for the sake of saving southperry. and also, try not to log in very often to maple. let's do that for like 1 month and see what happens. and hopefully it works.

Well I don't spend cash on NX so I'm fine with it...

Boycotting NX is a bannable offense.

A downside to this idea is that only a fraction of Maplers go on Southperry.

The players here only make up a small fraction of the total Maple community. We wouldn't even make a dent in Nexon's profits. ^__^

I've never spent any money to begin with. And it has nothing to do with ideas about Nexon being a jackass or anything.

So Nexon's lawyer said they don't like Fiel extracting the data, but wouldn't stop him, yet they come back and slap him with an infringement letter saying that he refused to stop extrating data... Isn't that entrapment?

To be honest, I think Nexon has been losing profit. Why do you think they have been actively going after Private Servers lately? They're probably under the delusion that Fiel is in fact taking away from their profits, and that's why they're going after him.

Boycotting NX (on a mass scale) by going to every forum, and spreading the word, might actually make Nexon listen to the people. They obviously have been keeping a close eye on their profits due to their actions lately.

I just merchant mesos and convert to NX via MTS now. Saves me real life money and a trip to target :x

Probably true. Horus, I don't buy NX now. What else can I do? Going to other forums to suggest boycotting NX is a nice idea, but will other people unite under Fiel's banner? Maybe they will unite as a protest to removal of extractions in general.

After each boycott, Nexon seems to charm everyone into getting addicted enough to start buying again. It is only partly about starting the boycott. It is more "giving a reason to keep it going long enough for Nexon to feel the impact."

Or play Fallout 3 instead of MS! YEAAH!

It won't change anything, Horusmaster. Sorry, but people have boycotted nexon several times already, and it doesn't help.

I wonder what has gotten Nexon into the delusion that Fiel is taking away their profits to begin with. I have a theory though... It's possible someone did the work and sent a tipoff to Nexon saying that Fiel help all the Pservers with their developement, and his involvement with the repacker after Nexon's first actions against Odin.

Then again, when the hackers were all over the place like immortal pests, people said to boycott NX. When Nexon wouldn't put in useful new contents, people said to boycott NX. Now, how many people actually use NX to benifit themselves in the game anyway? I would say most of the higher level people. They have more reasons to hoar on NX.

Nexon has used all possible means to make it so that its nearly impossible to enjoy the game without cash involved. Don't lecture me about MTS, I know that, but for a new player who has just begin playing, how much do they have use the MTS to begin with? The introduction of NX Meso bags is just the most stupid moves, it's going to make the newbies that have no real world money quit after a few weeks, because they simply can't afford anything due to the inflation. NLC pots was a good idea to reduce the effects of inflation, but pouring more mesos into the economy is going to totally defeat the purpose of introducing the NLC pots.

Not to mention, they totally didn't live up to the name "Global", and have instead gone "Nexon America". Nevermind the players from the rest of the world, just take care of the American users.
