Looking for help in Art
#1
Hey there, people of SP.
I was wondering whether you guys and gals are able to help me with this problem I have.
Currently, I'm trying to improve my artwork a lot in order to impress some people.

Is there anyone here able to critique a sample of my work?
I feel as if getting feedback would be able to help me a lot. Smile

Here is the sample:

No line between the left sleeve (from PoV) and the main body. Either that, or the length of the sleeve doesn't match up with the other sleeve.

There's a continuous line between the front pocket and the main body. That doesn't make sense to me.

Generally, the picture suffers from subtle splotchy coloring, sketchy lines, and bad proportioning.

My 2 cents.

Well I am a newbie when it comes to coloring. Tongue
And the continuous line is part of the design of the shirt; maybe I could have made it a bit more transparent.

Thank you for telling me these flaws.
I'll try my best to improve in it.

Gotta start with the basics, bro.

The proportions are way off. To be fair, it's a bit of a difficult pose because he's mostly looking at you straight on. Is he sitting up straight? Is he leaning forward a bit? Is he hunching forward a lot? It's hard for me to tell. Foreshortening is tricky.

We can look at folds later. Can't make believable folds if what they're covering isn't believable.
