help figuring HP washing math numbers and cost.
#1
i'll make this short, a nutjob i know says he's gonna aim for max hp, so i'm doing some basic calculations, and i need someone to go over them to make sure i didn't mess up anywhere. we are assumming 500 int from level 100 to 150, all AP's added to MP in this range
class is warrior, so -4 mp + 20 (24 with skill) hp per reset.

500 int means 50 mp each ap, a total of 250 mp per ap.
4 of that mp goes to str, so it's 46 mp that goes towards hp, but that comes later, basically 46 mp per ap.

so every level, you'd gain 46*5 = 230 mp considering it's 50 levels...
50*230 = 11500 mp for washing total after those 50 levels

11500 mp /4 = 2875 resets
2875resets = 57500 (69000) hp from washing alone

is that correct?
and now the reason why i call him a nutjob, the cost:
50MP has to be reset, so 250 mp reset per level, so 12500 MP to be reset from adding ap.
the 500 int every level gave a total of 50 int per level, so 2500 MP that is reset to HP from leveling

12500+2500=15000 MP to be reset, each reset takes away 4 mp, so
15000/4= 3750 resets that one has to buy.

is the above correct? Tongue and yes, i know, this is the most stupid waste of money ever, i've said it enough.

Seems correct, though you can save some by doing regular HP washing on some of your AP (50 levels from 150-200 = 250 AP) Which IIRC are 54 HP each, for another 13500 HP.

Or maybe that's part of the reason it's only 57500 HP from MP washing.

And you didn't count resetting 496 base INT into STR. I suppose that part could be skipped if we actually get AP-resets.

thing is, assumming the above, and 15k hp at level 200:

69000 hp from washing
15000 hp from leveling
15000 hp fom leveling with int

so that's a total of 100k at 200, this is calculated assumming you can't reach 200 before legend, which in my opinion is very true, considering half the AP will be invested in INT, and the other half on MP, and the plan is to use the AP reset from legend (if it comes) to get 500 str from int. and not have to pay for those 500 resets. i even consider 150 to be a far shot but meh, not me doing it.

(above numbers are taking into account 1.2x hp multiplier)

but the above would be correct then? if you have any other ideas on how to reduce the cost, do tell, ofc, this will be modified on later levels, since level 1~100 will also add a nice amount of MP, which can be used for the cheaper HP washing with ap from 150+

lol 500 INT and nearly 3800 Resets just to hit max HP? Good luck with that...

Its a shame that the full AP reset we might get doesnt reset HP/MP ap, otherwise that'd be an affordable way for people who plan ahead to wash free of charge.

Actually, I'm glad it doesn't. Otherwise it would ruin all the work people have spent over the years, and we'd have to spend MORE NX just to get back to our current values.

Well, the way most HP washing works is that it ultimately keeps the amount of total AP in HP/MP at any given time 0 (ap in hp = "negative" ap in mp in a sense). It's concievable that Nexon could code ap resets to reset the amount of total AP you should have based on your level - you'd have 4/4/4/4 stats again but unchanged hp/mp from previous washing. This way, it would reset excess ap in hp, if you actually keep it there instead of your main stat, but it wouldn't affect a non-bloodwashed hp/mp total.

Nexon would never do something just to benefit their hideously high margin customers, amirite?

Well not in this case since it'd be foregone profit.
