Magic: The Gatheing
#1
I figured since Yu-Gi-Oh can have a thread, why can't Magic. This thread will be dedicated to all things MTG related. Feel free to post stories of recent amazing victories, hilarious defeats, weird strategies, whatever you can think of that pertains to Magic.

I figured I'd kick this thread off with a vid of one of the win on turn zero (before your opponent even draws a card) strategies.

I'm not gonna say I'm a master at Magic, but in my opinion, I think a side board with Mishra, Artificer Prodigy and Mycosynth Lattice may benefit your deck.

Mishra, Artificer Prodigy
(1)(U)(B)®
Legendary Creature - Human Artificer
Whenever you play an artifact spell, you may search your graveyard, hand, and/or library for a card with the same name as that spell and put it into play. If you search your library this way, shuffle it.
4/4

Mycosynth Lattice
(6)
Artifact
All permanents are artifacts in addition to their other types.
All cards that aren't in play, spells, and permanents are colorless.
Players may spend mana as though it were mana of any color.

I thought about the Lattice primarily because of your non-artifact spells and your island. The Lattice would also allow you to play Mishra which you otherwise cannot play due to the type of mana you run. If you wish to stay full blue and artifact, than a creature you could look into is Arcum Dagsson.

Arcum Dagsson
(3)(B)
Legendary Creature - Human Artificer
T: Target artifact creature's controller sacrifices it. That player may search his or her library for a noncreature artifact card, put it into play, then shuffle his or her library.
2/2

Arcum Dagsson allows for an easy way to get out your more expensive non-creature artifacts straight from your deck. I use one in my own artifact deck usually to fetch a card like Darksteel forge, making my creature indestructible.

Darksteel Forge
(9)
Artifact
Artifacts you control are indestructible. (“Destroy” effects and lethal damage don’t destroy them.)

I also noticed you were using a lot of (0) drop artifacts in your deck, another one that you may or may not have seen is "Mishra's Bauble", up to you if you wanna run it

Mishra's Bauble
(0)
Artifact
T, Sacrifice Mishra's Bauble: Look at the top card of target player's library. Draw a card at the beginning of the next turn's upkeep.

Just some other cards to keep an open mind about (like those)

Skeleton Shard
(3)
Artifact
(3), T or (B), T: Return target artifact creature card from your graveyard to your hand.

Arcbound Crusher
(4)
Artifact Creature
Trample
Whenever another artifact comes into play, put a +1/+1 counter on Arcbound Crusher.
Modular 1 (This creature comes into play with a +1/+1 counter on it. When it’s put into a graveyard, you may put it’s +1/+1 counter on target artifact creature.)
0/0

Voltaic Key
(1)
Artifact
(1) T: Untap target artifact.

I'm amazed that it only took one reply for Mega64 to show itself in this thread.

Maybe you should fix that "Gatheing" in the title?

Try Metalworker?

Card Set: Urza's Destiny
Casting Cost: 3
Color: Colorless
Spell Type: Artifact Creature - [1/2]

Original Rules Text:
tap: Reveal any number of artifact cards in your hand. Add two colorless mana to your mana pool for each card revealed this way.

and

Take out Skill borrower, replace all those myr generators and stuff with better creatures/removal (like counters against combo decks), and have only 1 akroma's memorial if you want it, and maybe stick in some artifact tutors?

I just got this crazy dumb funny idea for a no mana cost deck.

Creatures: _______________# of copies______Casting cost_____P/T
Ornithopter ____________________4______________0_________0/2
Shield Sphere __________________4______________0_________0/6
Phyrexian Walker _______________4______________0_________0/3
Frogmite ______________________4______________4_________2/2
Mycosynth Golem _______________4_____________11_________4/5
Myr Enforcer ___________________4______________7_________4/4
Arcbound Overseer ______________2______________8_________0/0
Darksteel Colossus ______________2______________11_______11/11

Spells:
Scale of Chiss-Goria _____________4______________3
Tooth of Chiss-Goria _____________4______________3
Dark Sphere ____________________4______________0
Delif’s Cone _____________________4______________0
Mishra’s Bauble __________________4______________0
Spellbook _______________________4______________0
Tormod’s Crypt __________________4______________0
Welding Jar _____________________4______________0

The basic point of the deck is to play everything as soon as you get it. You play out every 0 mana cost card you draw as soon as you can and then, once you get out mycosynth golem, you play the two biggest hitters (Arcbound Overseer and Darksteel Colossus). Everything else that doesn't cost 0 has affinity for artifacts so all those 0 drops pop those out for free.
