Dead Island

I actually enjoy this game. It's pretty much Borderlands meets L4D.

Haven't played it multiplayer, though (don't know if I can...) but single player is actually pretty fun.

Anyone else have this?

Spent hours and hours at the resort just exploring and crafting and killing, teamed up with random people every now and then and farmed some thugs :3

Started out with Xian (who i now know is the hardest character to play) and have just gotten to the city, where the difficulty level has just spiked somewhat, really finding it hard. Still though, there is nothing more satisfying than when you can throw a machete at a zombies head and cut it clean off, i did it twice in a row

I'm having trouble with my first Ram :|. I can't manage to doge and if I do, he kicks me straight away. I know I can only damage him from behind but I can't get behind him o_o

I used Xian's rage mode.
Slow motion + faster + extra damage + extra backstab damage = killed in 2 hits

it's an okay game, it's buggy as hell, I am avoiding online play because it ruins your save. Happened to my bro who jumped onto Co-op first thing and then couldn't get trophies.

I heard it was pretty bad. Very buggy. Level up system is retarded (high level crow bar > low level gun?) Never tried it myself though.

Oh it is very buggy, if you are on a console, look at your shadow and run!(on the PC you could have just went in to third person and see the same thing)

this is one of those games where you throw any idea of realism out of the window, just wait until you make items enchanted with statuses like poison.

I'm still waiting on the next patch and further price drop before I buy it. Enjoyed watching gameplay of it though.

They're zombies. Shooting zombies with a pistol isn't gonna get you anywhere. On the other hand, against human enemies your low level gun will be much much better than a high level crow bar.
