Amazing "little" dragon boss fight Guild Wars 2
#21
That was pretty cool, but I probably won't have a system capable of playing it for a loong time.

Didn't those fail horribly in WoW? I guess scaling HP helps that but you still have issues like spawn camping if the boss drops anything good. And if they distribute loot to everyone that shows up, then you're going to have people piggybacking just to get some loot, which might hurt your ability to defeat the boss. There's a lot of potential problems; I'd like to see how they handle it.

=o really cool!!!

At first when the dragon appeared, I really thought it would be little, so I looked at it like "aw cute little dragon", then I realize that it was standing on the mountains in the background and not hovering around the player like I though @.@ so huge!

It's most likely like GW1, aka you have your own world. And unless you party someone, you're practically in a single player game unless you're in the cities.

Maybe they're going with a different system this time, but i'm sure they'll work it out.

It's not just scaling HP. As more players come, the boss gets new abilities unlocked. The loot in GW2 is done on a per player basis so everyone gets a reward for helping to take down a boss. The more effort you put into the fight, the better your reward is.

It's a persistent world. Everyone is in the same place just like WoW. I think they even said that in the video
