Is something wrong with my computer?

So I went into mining town and saw this:



Is that a graphical error on my computer's end or is that some kinda map crash/hack?

It didn't dc me either. My computer just started making weird noises on me. And as well...it looked funny, I just thought I'd ask just in case.

Hackers have gained power over The Void? This does not bode well for MapleStory.

It's not a map crash directly
It's an animation hack, they can summon the animation for any skill in the game/things like nexon start screen/level up animation/floating "GM" wings above your head.
If they modify these packets, it created an animation the game cannot recognize, causing it to crash

Two of the most know hackers in arcania have been using the gm hat animation thing for over 3 hours in ch1 fm entrance and still going...
Funny thing is every kid seems to think they're actual gms.

they suppossedly can spam the stuff (like say, mech o evan summon) to lag you into DC too
