Drawing assortment.

New thread, didn't fancy bumping the old one from nearly a year ago.

Kind of got bit by a drawing bug lately. Over the past few weeks have been participating in lolBasils MS Pain(t) thread for prompts, seems to have dragged me out of a classic months-old art block.

 MS Paint stuff

May have changed in appearance since I scribbled them. In order from earliest to latest. No guidelines were used at any point since they're a pain to rub out in Paint.



Started off simple.



Stylised.



Add colour...



Start using the fill colour tool, run into several single-pixel holes that need plugging.



Back in business, sort of.



Rudimentary shading.



Trying to make peoples avatars a bit more interesting to draw.



Lots of background since the avatar itself was quite plain.



Not sure what I was thinking here.



Ended up taking ages and the line work was too messy so didn't colour.



User with no avatar set spending no effort at all on their contribution got this.

With this new-found faith in ones own skills, finished off something I thought I'd never finish.

Had some crit, needs more contrast on the objects surrounding the fire. Not touching it again though, could end up nitpicking it for eternity.

Hope I don't run into another block, this drawing business is quite a fun pastime.
