R.I.P. Ryan Dunn
#41
did the comparison from drunk driving to speeding just happen in this thread? Can i get a show of hands on who all has ever been drunk and who all has driven a car fast? Not the fucking same. 75 in a 70 isn't like slamming some jack down and hopping behind the wheel, pineapple that pomegranate will not even get you pulled over 99% of the time. Call it shades of grey but if you think that pomegranate is comparable even in black and white you're fucking colorblind.

Mark Wrote:Not quite. I liked Ryan Dunn, he was a pretty cool guy. But he still died like a complete jackass. Drunk drivers deserve no sympathy because they could've taken innocent people with them.

This (except for the part about liking him).

Also, speeding and drunk driving are both incredibly dangerous and stupid, as Sarah said.

I'll take speeding being stupid because slowing down/stopping at a light for 5 seconds invalidates minutes of actually being significantly over the speed limit, but it's hardly dangerous a majority of the time. It depends entirely on what kind of speeding you're talking about, because there's a world of difference between 100 mph speeding (or even 90+) and 75 on the highway.

According to Dunn's friends, this death should not have been a surprise.
