My monitor won't display anything

The problem started when I turned on my computer, and noticed that my screen resolution was different for some strange reason. I changed it, and then loaded MS. When I loaded MS, instead of seeing the game, the screen turned black and I got a grey floating box telling me that the screen resolution wasn't right or something. So I decided to restart my computer, and suddenly my monitor won't display anything. Everything's working just fine, it's just that nothing shows up on my monitor.
Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

Try booting into safe mode and fixing/updating your video card driver. Resolution changing signifies that the driver might have been corrupted or that your video card itself may have malfunctioned. If it's a desktop and you're using an external video card you could try replacing it with a friends to check if that's the problem.

What are the odds that your moniter is a Samsung lol? If this is the same problem I had you basically have to take it into a repair shop if it's still under warranty or get a new one. I had the same issue where the moniter was on but never any picture and it would never display anything no matter what I tried. That is, if what the above was posted doesn't work.
