Difference between my OLD DB and making a new one after chaos?

So i have not played in 6-7 months or so.. or whenever the release of db's was, my DB is level 39 and ive recently returned to play Maplestory. i wanna know if i should Continue my Old, Before "chaos" db, or make a new one. can anyone tell me the differences, pros and cons, and things i need to know. Thanks

just make a new level 50 one given you already have a level 70 character in account.

Wouldn't leveling it 40 times or something also get him the mask? I don't remember all the event details that well.

Yes. You have to level 40 times from at least level 40 in order to get the mask, regardless of when you started the character. You don't get the quest until level 40.

Is the whole free skillbook deal not just assumptions in the first place though? KMS might have done it, but that does not say very much about GMS. the version that turned Evans into a premium class. We already know there will be a CS book sale for Evans and DBs soon and that alone indicates that no free CS books will be given. If people got free DB books in GMST (from a quest and not from Cody), I stand corrected.

But we wouldn't know about that unless they announce it before the patch (unlikely). If it's in tespia then it's time activated because it isn't there now and we can't very well data mine for that information.
