STR equips
#1
What equips can be scrolled for STR? I plan to have a low-str/strless gunslinger, so I need to plan out my equips.... Also, are Overall STR scrolls going to come out with pirates? Thanks.

Overall Str scrolls are already out.

You'd actually be more concerned with accuracy....not strength.

Thought it said dexless infighter for some reason...I freaking hate myself for skipping over text and not reading it properly.

Yeah, I just realized that. >_> Are 60%s out?

Wasted topic, anyway, I decided to go to lolBasil. Overall STR 30%s, Cape STR. I thought there were Helm STR. Apparently not... being STRless is going to suck unless Nexon gives us more STR scrolls. I'll Gacha right after the patch anyway.

Overall Str
Zhelm
Dep Star
Cape Str

Let's See...

15
5
10
25 (If you are lucky)

+55 Str you can get, maybe more. That'll last you till 55, so I'd advise to just add str.

Overall str scrolls are not worth alot. A 20 Str Bathrobe should be easy to scroll. As for the Str Helm Scrolls, They might come out soon.

Purposely going out of your way to be STRless/low STR doesn't give you any advantage at all.

Almost everything that can be scrolled for STR can also be scrolled for DEX. Stats is pretty much the same as archers': choose your equips according to which has the highest STR+DEX for the lowest price, and plan your AP accordingly.

going low-STR as a gunslinger is completely pointlessGlitter. more things can be scrolled for dex than for STR anyway, so a low-STR gunslinger with 55STR in equips and 55 extra DEX in their stats is much harder than a gunslinger with 55 dex in their equips and 55 STR in thier stats (as in without equips)
Not to mention, the reason people go dexless infighter is because the highest level currently known weapon only takes 120 dex to equip. thats not that bad if you're funded.
120 STR in equips is BEYOND well-funded.
The only way to achieve this is with high-grade power crystals, the maker skill, and a TON of chaos scrollsRolleyes

Thanks for the replies. I suppose it is a bit pigheaded of me to try for STRless. How much STR would be advised?

Doesn't really matter, just figure out how to maximize your STR+DEX gain and make sure you have just enough STR with equips for current-level.

If you're planning on a Zhelm, it's advisable to keep your base STR at least 15 below level until you get it, so that you can just switch your STR equips to DEX without going over.

Final cap, maybe 70-80, but you won't have to worry about that until you're near your final equips anyway and by that time you should have your STR bonuses more or less sorted out.

The easiest would probably be this:
Glove attack
Cape STR
Shoe Jump or Speed (I'd personally opt for speed until much later on)
Everything else DEX

Then when you get a Zhelm, you can switch the cape to DEX.

the normal amount. 1 per lvl. lets say you have a 10STR overall, so u decide to add an extra 10 DEX into your sp. this is a bad choice, because a 10 DEX overall is much easier to get ahold of(you can 100% it even. better make those last 2 examples 20 STR/DEX saunas) and the 10 STR in your sp allows you to equip your lvl gun without the hassle of wasting equip slots on STR stuffGlitter
EDIT: forgot about zhelm and horntail pendant. since these are going to be your hat from lvl 50+ and pendant from 120+, it is actually ok since these give (15 STR from zhelm + i forget how much STR from necklace). So you can take that much STR out of your sp

Aren't overall str scrolls cheaper than overall dex scrolls? You can finish the remaining slots with 60% overall dex after using 30% overall str scrolls.

As a warrior (without HT pendant) I peak out around +60 STR, and that's with a weapon scrolled for 12 str...

I'd recommend just getting the best stat bonus you can afford for each gear. Dex or Str are equal in value if your base str matches it.

Slightly cheaper, but much, much rarer.

I haven't yet seen a single STR overall or scroll in game.

Well Low-STR is what my gunslinger will be...
At least for my Zhelm.
Probably just get a STR cape and maybe a STR helmGlitter
15 FTW!

Since I'm too poor to afford a dex pac, I'm just going to use my friend's str one. That, zhelm, and the deputy star will be my only equipment with any str on it. :/

you're in khaini right? i just browsed FM for like 2 or 3 days last week, and bought a total of 16 30%s and 12 70%s... they arent that rare.

And that wasnt even all that were there, i skipped over the overpriced ones.

....Then again, last time I actually played was about 3-4 months ago. Only reason I've been on since then has been to explore new areas, and that doesn't involve searching FM.

They're still harder to find than DEX overalls, aren't they?

Err, I've found them easier to find. I have about a hundred of them stored up in preparation for selling to pirates in the future.
