ShinkuDragon Wrote:i don't, i literally tried to avoid EVERY possible spoiler, to the point of stopping reading any forums.

in the end, i still got spoiled a good amount, but not enough where i would know so much about the game i wouldn't enjoy the "NEW CHARACTER: X" appearing

Ah, true. It isn't exactly the best scenario when you're wanting to be void of all spoilers.

not cool when your pals who also enjoy the game all had birthdays on those days, and then when i went to visit the subject of the talk was "dude, did you see? sonic is on brawl!"

Dark Link Wrote:I'm kinda hoping they do a similar fashion in "revealing" things as they did for Brawl, it was a lot of fun.

it kind of lost its charm when literally everything was revealed like a month before the game came out

Everything was fully revealed when Japan got their copies way before NA's release, so the website can't be 100% at fault.
I remember the explosion of topics made when Wolf was revealed as the final unlockable from Japan released SSes.

Dark Link Wrote:Which is true, and the Courage and Wisdom pieces always depict the "Link" and "Zelda" of each generation, considering Ganon always returns per 100 years (Or is it 1000) or so.

At this point, it's more like Ganon returns when he feels like it.

Quote:WHERES THE TRIFORCEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE????????? ????????????????????/////?

the wii u is such a lame name
Quote:Actually, the Triforce isn't on her clothes. You can see most of the other half of that part of her clothes in the trailer and it's just more of a bird-type design.

Since its pre ocarina, the triforce should still be locked up in the sacred realm. There isn't any actual reason for it to play an important part in the story (at least, not at the start), which would make sense of just having the bird design, not holding the triforce.
It's not that much of a stretch to assume they don't know about it, since they're all living on a floating island of some sort, far away from wherever the triforce is located, how ever if they became aware of it between skyward sword and ocarina, adding it to the bird logo as a means of praising the gods would be understandable.

Wii U 2 good!

I wouldn't be too worried about the stock market thing. It's a whole different beast when compared to what happens in the actual gaming market. Same thing happened with the Wii, I think, and look how that turned out.

Doesn't this happen all the time anyways? Buy during the hype, sell after the reveal, or something.

1st set of rules for the stock market (and economy in general): buy low; sell high. In the case you mentioned, you are assuming that the Wii 2 is going to do just as well as its predecessor.

I'll buy it if i have cash; otherwise i probably won't buy it until it goes into gamecube status (as in old and just about to go to the next generation) and be cheaper than the Wii motes and games.
