Is there any real point in getting maker this late?

I hear it's getting the Axe.

So like...

Yeah should I just not waste my time?
(Considering that I lvl slow, and 'prolly wont hit 120 till like... September?)

Or should I waste my time, and try to maker a bunch of claws, like, the day before maker expires? (I'm predicting that maker items will massively deflate the week before they kill maker)?

Do you see a use for maker? such as making gear with stats they shouldnt have or more then they should have, no? then dont get it? yes? get it

Not true, they're still required for some recipes (most 60+ for monster crystals).

I don't know how existing crystals will be affected, but in KMS right now, there are only 3 kinds (Basic, Intermediate, Advanced). There are no level tiers for the crystals; you can make a 110 equip and a 80 equip with the same Intermediate, for example.

Edit: Also I'm positive that Dark and Black Crystals are required for all Timeless/Reverse recipes.

Those are item crystals not monster crystals. Any graded gem becomes worthless as well.

Iirc, monster crystals become useless(as yo72 said), instead item crystals or some thing(forgot their name, but they're differently named, same sprite though) are use in professions. Unless I've read wrong.

Items made with Maker are better than the ones made with Blacksmithing though, since you can add stats to them. I think it would be better to make higher level items (ie. Reverse/Timeless) before the patch because getting a high level of Blacksmithing will probably take some time.
