eMS Patch 0.45

Dear Maplers,



We will go through a patch on Thursday, 16 October, 2008 at 4:00 a.m. CET(GMT+2).

The patch will last for approximately 4 hours, and users will not be able to

access the game and the website during that time.

With NLC eMS FINALLY gets something decent. Hopefully they keep gMS potion prices and wont use Taiwan MS ones.

They inform users of patches six days ahead?
And wow they get NLC. Do they even have Zakum yet? :f6:

Hmm just realised the Level up Event for Beginners. I wonder what that means. :o

If I remember right, MSEA had a level up event for beginners as well. But I never saw any info about that.

And no, eMS doesn't have Zakum or anything else nice for high levels. Well, except for NLC then, if they use gMS potion prices instead of tMS' prices xd. The lack of stuff for high lvls was one of the many reasons why I had quit 6 months ago :o

Sorry, but I find this stupid. 'Stealing' you say? That doesn't make any God damn sense in my head.

If you're saying EMS are stealing 'exclusive' maps, then let me point out a few things.
GMS has taken Zipangu, Mushroom Shrine, Korean Folk Town, Singapore (Next Patch). I'm somewhat sure they were supose to be 'exclusive'.
NLC has TWO massive European tourist attractions; Big Ben and Eiffel Tower.
EMS has come up with some exclusive maps, like that sasauge event and the beer tent.

So... On ya' bike mate.

This makes sense, logically.

TaiwanMS, and presumably from the GM blog, GMS, will be getting Singapore soon. We already knew that JMS would be getting NLC by the end of the year, so it stands to reason that another version might get it too. EMS itself might be a surprising choice but it makes sense that someone got it.

I'm happy for them, it's about time they got a good patch. Plus more versions having Masteria will create greater demand for the additions and might spur developers on. :p

I'm pretty sure that guy was joking, also, KFT is not an exclusive area for any version. Saying that is like saying Ludi is exclusive or even Orbis. And besides, he has a point, they did get 2 exclusive areas so far without realeasing anything that comes remotely close to NLC or Singapore.
And, no, I am not making fun of EMS.

Isn't Singapore sort of a world tour.. Also, NLC is not a world tour and is in a whole new continent. By complaining about MSEA getting Masteria and NLC, that's kind of like say, KMS players complaining about GMS getting Ludi or Orbis.

Why does everyone keep talking about versions "steal"ing areas from other versions? It's not like we lose anything from eMS getting NLC.

No versions of Maplestory 'steal' from each other, the correct word would most likely be shared. It's like GMS doesn't get enough to enjoy what they're playing. 'We need new maps' or 'We need pirates'. Personally, I think that GMS is probably the most 'superior' (probably superior than KMS) with our Apples, SCGs and so on. NLC is nothing, your eyes out once other versions get Onyx Apples. Hah.

As for silverquiver, EMS is a growing community. Just think of how long from GMS started till it released NLC. EMS most likely will have it's own ideas of new maps that will be SHARED (not bloody 'exclusive' ) in the future.

What I'm curious to see, is how will NLC mix within KMS... Whenever they get it.

GMS is not superior to KMS in anyway. Apples and SCGs mean nothing compared to the amount of content in KMS has. I'd gladly leave behind the amount of items meant to boost attack to enjoy the vast range of content KMS has to offer. Anyway, I never meant to bad-mouth EMS and you have a point, it took forever for GMS to get an exclusive area. (The term "exclusive" doesn't necessarily mean that it belongs to one version only. It's commonly used to signify that a certain version of Maple created a certain area.)
