PvP time-limit in gMS...

Can anyone find an instance of them calling it Global MapleStory in the last two years? I don't see it anywhere on their site anymore.

That's because it's not anymore. It hasn't been "Global MapleStory" since the game started expanding globally (BrazilMS, EuropeMS, etc.)

Anyway, I don't really see a problem coming here, they will have to make it for 4 time zones, including east-coast USA (since usa people live there too, ya rly), and that's only +5 CET (+4 GMT), and kMS made it only available for like 3pm ~ 8pm (about that), so that would be 20:00~01:00 for us, really convenient!!!

Anyways, I doubt it will be that big of an issue since they have to take into account all of the U.S. as well as Australia meaning that Europeans should have some sort of reasonable time to pvp...or they can just nexon it up and make it revolve around PST only.

If there is a time limit they is going to be many fake petitions on the sites, and many people raging.
Also if they are forced to put one due to copy pasting code, time limit can be done like this 00:00:00 to 23:59:59 so now they have 24 hours limit.

That's retarded. What's the point of a time limit?

IF those items are easily obtainable then pvp will have a purpose. But if it turns out to be like dojo which requires a ridiculous amount of time and effort dont expect everyone to be on the pvp train.

You mean the Proof of Ares needed to craft high level equips (like the Dark Angelic Ring)? Well the rates in KMS are 1 for 500 BP, 4 for 1500 BP, and 7 for 2500 BP. And if you do decently well in PvP (like 1st or 2nd place), expect around 100 BP per run, like in this SS from Spadow:



I'd say getting a lot of BP is a bit time-consuming, but it's not as much as Dojo. PvP is also pretty much more fun that Dojo.

Well, they brought the token system in vindictus, and after enough bitching they made it more lenient. If it comes out, just start bitching.

The limit likely has to do with the way Korean games do things now have a lot to do with a "fatigue": which is implicated by law. All the localizations could remove any of these limits, but they don't. Ultimately, they don't care at all. People still will be attracted to whatever is getting nerfed.

The "You are logging from Europe" window talks about gMS. Which is bit ironic itself...
