Two maps for Manon and Griffey?
#1
I was browsing through the map directories and I find that there's two entries for Manon's Forest and Griffey's Forest. Does that mean there's two copies of this place, and that one may potentially contain the boss and the other doesn't (because someone killed it)?

There are two instances of the map. I believe that both can spawn Manon/Griffey at the same time.

I posted this same question back on sleepy a while ago. No one replied Sad

When I rendered both instances of both maps, they both had the same mobs, boss and all.

I'm pretty sure only one of them actually works. The other will be for some other weird reason.

I always wondered why Fiel had the same maps over and over again in his extractations...

Indeed there are. They are both fully functional, I assure you. Regardless, one is not open to the public Wink

Maybe GMs go there to get their 4th Job Quest Items / Skillbooks and they don't want to have to look for a Manon and a Griffey.. so they have their special map where they are always there, because nobody kills them.. lols

I'm hoping you were being sarcastic...

Only one of the two maps work.

Couldn't they just summon one? >__>

I think the other one is for GM testing of the maps. Similar to a GM Tespia. Although they could just call a SC and test it that way...
