If you read, fox is refuting the state made by Evans, not suporting it. The source where Evans claims Obama's papers are not on record is not fox.

Considering the alternative being an old man who ran so fast from his previous ideals for the sake of getting votes that HE should be the one tested to see if he came from Kenya (ZING!) and some dumb women who as John Cleese said "is basically an beautiful parrot who memorized a few pretty sentiments".

The reason people care about his citizenship is because the citizenship status of "Natural Born Citizen" is required by the Constitution, something Obama promised to uphold.

But as I said, Obama's conditions of birth are not necessary to prove that he doesnt qualify. He surrended any claims to be a US Citizen of any form (unless he goes through the standard immigration processes and becomes a Naturalized Citizen) when he became an Indonesian citizen.

Since Dunham was only 18 when Obama was born, it is impossible for her to pass on citizenship to Obama. The only possible way for Obama to be considered native is by right of jus soli, or by being Born on US soil.

Although, none of that is significant, because he surrendered any possible claims to US citizenship when he became an Indonesian Citizen.

The fact is his birth records have never been actually released, or officially inspected for signs of forgery. His records were sealed by a sympathetic judge in Hawaii and were transferred from another country to the US. By now really it's a dead issue due to all the red tape that got delivered, and nothing really can be done about it until his records can be unsealed, traced, and verified for authenticity. Even then the only thing that could happen if verified to be falsified would be his removal from office and only his enacted policies signed into law reversed. He would never get prison time, or any other punishment. If anything most of his policies have already failed or are being reversed anyway, and the likelihood of him being re-elected is growing very slim.

If states where to pass laws requiring proof of citizenship to be presented, then Obama would be forced to released a Birth Certificate. Although, unless states do so, this issue will probably remain dead. I only mentioned it because it's recent news, and if Evans' first statement is true, then Obama has no proof that he is eligable to be president.

I seriously wish that - if he was born in Hawaii - that he would release the original Birth Certificate. That would put the entire issue to rest.
