[Math Help] Regarding Stacking of Potentials

Ok, I understand 30% boss vs 30% def ignore; that 30% boss wins out unless 2 conditions are met : The boss has 50% or more pdrate or your class has no def ignore base.

Heres my situation. I am a bowman (we have 20% def ignore i believe) with a VIP bow with 30% boss damage on line 1, 15% ignore def on line 2 and 15% ignore def on line 3.

Do any or all of these stack? I assume boss damage and the def stack because they effect two different parts of the calculation. Also how does the 15% and 15% stack.. and how would i go about figuring this out.

First off, nice work on the equip. The boss damage and ignore def are unrelated in the dmg formula, so there is no problem with them stacking. The 15% and 15% should stack additively with your 20% for 50% def ignore.

I don't know ... From what i observe it doesn't work like that or Czak has so much regular def it drops my attack by a lot..

lvl 99 - beetle - max dmg observed was 140k

Leviathan - max dmg observed was 179k

Czak Arms - Max damage observed - this is without it having his def up skill on - 130k
With Def up .. max dmg was around 110k.

(now... there is a chance that it could go higher then 130k because with it dispelling its hard to keep concentrate on and fully buffed)

All of these number are taken during fully buffed using hurricane. ( 40 atk stew , max concentrate, mw30)
i'm level 200 and my range is 37557-44185 with said buffs if any of that helps.

After further testing...

Zak - Max Damage was around 150k


Which leads me to believe 15% ignore def + 15% ignore def doesn't stack ... at this point i can't even tell if my skill 20% stacks with 15% +15% at all...

180k on levi
150k on zak
130k on czak

If all 3 stacks the damage should be almost the same on all 3 since it should be negating a large amount of there pdrate unless i'm calculating it wrong.
