Problem with Programs, Deleting and Space
#1
Ok, I've noticed over the past couple months, that everytime I uninstall a program I never regain the space from the program I deleted, and sometimes I even lose space.

For instance yesterday I uninstalled maple (had to cause of that stupid avast thingy). Before uninstalling I had 15.2GB's free on my C Drive(where maple is located) and after uninstallation I had 15.1.

Can someone explain how I LOST space for UNINSTALLING a program?

That seems odd. Sometimes when you uninstall programs it'll leave some files on your computer, but I've never heard of a case where you have less memory.

Run CCleaner and see if get a lot of space back.

How often can the CCleaner be ran?

As often as you want.

Very strange... Are you running Vista? As it keeps very large dump files sometimes. I'd recommend just trying Disk Clean-up on your "hard-drives".

Another possibility is someone (you or otherwise) is installing/downloading more files than you're deleting.
