Question for Rangers/Bowmasters (Post Big Bang)
#1
Hi there! I'm new to Southperry so I'm not entirely sure about how things work here, so apologies if this is in the wrong section. Anyways, my question for the Rangers and Bowmasters out there, is about the usefulness of Strafe. I've been looking through some ideas for builds to follow after Big Bang and I'm kind of caught between two ideas. The first one would be, maxing Strafe, getting 15 Hawk and 6 Thrust. The second is getting 21 Strafe and maxing Hawk and Thrust. So, basically, what I really would like to find out is which of the two builds seems more viable, and how useful Strafe really is after you get Hurricane.

Many thanks! Smile

The latter works out best.

While on the subject, level 1 Hurricane> maxed Strafe?
If this is really true, I won't max Strafe then.

Don't max strafe regardless, leave it at 21. Mobbing > Single target and Hurricane beats it in every aspect.

It is by a lot. Boostered Strafe is 916.7%/s Level 1 Hurricane is 1683.3%/s

For reference, Inferno is 675%/s.

You still can't jump shot Hurricane. Come on Nexon.

The way arrows don't overkill more than makes up for it, but I feel being able to move and jump while using Hurricane would be overpowered.

I don't think making it work like Rapid Fire would make it overpowered. Also, I don't know why everyone says there's no overkill, pretty much every monster takes an extra 2-3 arrows after dying due to server lag.

You don't max Phoenix until very late, and even then you usually leave it at 21. Hawk is more reliable in terms of stunning since it's achieved at an earlier level.
