There's a hacker inside Asiasoft Thailand

Haha...They are just trying to make it sound a 100x worst than the actual fact.
For example, we have free monthly 2X Drop Rate and several 2X Exp Events in MapleSEA. Just because the moderators neglected to update the information regarding the month's 2X drop rate event, several people would start to complain about it. Trust me, they will start to complain about this from the second last day of the previous month... -_-

In the first place, MapleSEA wasn't told to give free monthly 2X Drop Event. Yet, the players were demanding for it...

We have monthly 2x drop and exp. Sometimes weekly. Don't see how that argues the case that NEXON AM is better than Asiasoft but ok..

I think it's too much of a risk to be an inside job, but I could be wrong. I'll hope that the players don't get royally screwed over anymore though.

Inside job would be less detectable as the hacker could easily fudge log files, delete data, alter files, and forge anything needed to cover his/her tracks. Outside job would be more detectable as the administrators could easily find out who accessed what, when, and from where.

I can vouch for that! Seen several complains on ASF forum whenever there wasn't any 2x DROP for the month at 7.30PM~8.30PM +8GMT.
It seems that it's already a daily routine for MSEA to have 2x DROP for an hour or two everyday. It been like this for years.

JMS has two hours 2x drop every day (is announced on official notice). I always thought they did it to spread out the server load (the 2x drop is usually late afternoon like 4:30 - 5:30 and late evening like 8:00 - 9:00; people usually go on boss runs during 2x drop).

AsiaSoft has been one of the worst handled distributions of MapleStory since they got the license for it.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if it was an inside-job with their track record.

its probably chinese hackers all over again. I bet they were waiting for asiasoft to be complacent once again after the hacking pandemic in maplesea. I guess asiasoft really did get complacent.
