Ulu city has absolutely nothing to do with neo tokyo.

Ulu is in a totally different area than Neo Tokyo.

I still doubt we'd get it either way, though.

or JMS keeps a revamped Neo Tokyo while other versions get a revamped Neo City. If they found it too bombastic before, why would they implement it now?

You need Masteria items to access Neo City in GMS and Ninja Castle items or a cshop item to access Neo Tokyo.

When did that happen? The last time I went to Neo City on GMS, they had the same requirements as KMS (Talk to Han the Broker in Magatia, then a few other NPCs on the way to Leafre, then talk to Andy, then find his pocket watch, then do the quests for Neo City.)

SwordStaker you're back at it AGAIN? Neo Tokyo is NOT coming ANY time soon because there is nothing to suggest it. JapanMS made Kaede LONG before Neo Tokyo, and just because they decided to tie it together does NOT mean theres any evidence. They won't add it before, so unless JMS produces a revamped version that can be taken after, it likely won't come out at all. You really need to stop using every little thing as evidence of a new release. GlobalMS will likely never get Neo Tokyo, and after Neo City, I was hoping to not hear about it anymore.

I originally felt very declined to reply, but how did this thread get rated?

Anyway,
SwordStaker Wrote:Kabanaw the fact that Ninja Castle was added ALMOST concerts the fact Neo Tokyo WILL come.

SwordStaker Wrote:I'm not saying NC automatically =Neo Tokyo. I'm just saying if we have NC it's logical that NT should be coming close behind.

You seriously have a problem with your assertions.

I'm going to make the prediction that if Neo Tokyo will ever come out to GMS, that it will be released on Nov. 18th with that next planned update. My reasoning, the current time-frame for this next update is similar to how long it took for MapleSEA to get Neo Tokyo after getting Ninja Castle. It makes more sense to release it a short time after getting Ninja Castle as other versions have done. I just have a feeling that it's the last piece of filler content they'll release before Big Bang. If I'm wrong, well then too bad for me. But, I'm feeling pretty hopeful.

The only problem with this theory is one factor: those versions didn't have Neo City. Kaede Castle doesn't conflict with any current content, but Neo Tokyo does. Of course, Nexon could add in Neo Tokyo, but it doesn't make that much sense to add potentially confusing content besides the fact that people want overly-difficult high level crap over more boring low level crap.

You can go in exclusive neo city without doing a single neo city quest, iirc. You don't need any items either.

Not quite. You can go into one area (I forgot the year but it had the super high level mobs) without doing quests. The others, however, you need someone to bring you in and/or do the quests.

I've always wondered. Couldn't Nexon just say "this is the alternate time line" if they ever add neo tokoyo in? It deals with time travel, a made up concept. There aren't really any rules to it. You can easily say that there are multiple time lines and multiple realities/ dimensions.

Edit: I'm not supporting or denying the fact that Neo Tokoyo can be added in. I'm just stating what I feel that they can do if they ever wish to add in Neo Tokoyo without removing Neo City. I really don't care what they do, since I almost completely quit maple. I doubt even big bang will bring me back completely as I'm playing with my guild on different games.
