Regarding the Time Traveler Medal

Do you need to complete Stage 1 to get it? By completing, i mean getting the 7 badges and exchanging them at least once. Or that stage is totally independent?
Or just the other important Stages?

You need to do that stage. You don't have to do get all 7 badges to complete it for the medal.
