Post BB - Warriors weapons

I`m interested in making a YAYPaladin.

I know that there will be only 1 Mastery and 1 Booster for Warriors.
Today i also know that for example Axes have a lower min range and a higher max range in terms of DMG.
And DMG of Swords (2h) are very stable compared to Axes.

After BB and all the changes to wep. formulas id like know if it will be still the same like today.
Axes will vary more in terms of DMG (lower min dmg, higher max dmg) or are the Weapons now equal in terms
of their att-range? (Speed of a Weapon is not important at this point to me)

I hope my Question is understandable.

After BB, Swords, axes, BW's all have the same multipliers and min range is a fixed % of max. So yeah, other than weapon speed they would be equivalent.

And if you're making a Pally, I'm pretty sure they're still limited to BW's and Swords not axes.

Swords and Axes will now have the same minimum multiplier (20%Wink and the same max multipliers. If you hold an axe and a sword with similar speed and attack values, you will destroy the enemies at the same rate. The issue is that many axes are Normal(6) or Slow(7), and all swords are Normal(6). This gives swords an unfair advantage, so most people will still use swords. There is now no difference between stab or slash (has this been fully confirmed yet?).

Also true for 1h swords and axes. The common speed amongst 1h swords is fast (5) while amongst 1h axes is normal (6). There are a few noteable weapons that might be worth using - just for looks:

Level 80 and 90 2h axes are normal (6)
Reverse 2h axe is normal (6)
Vip and Last 1h axes are fast (5)
Duck tube is fast (5) - it's a level 90 1h BW - but the speed might not be worth the average att base - a whopping 25 att (90 for tube) below a crushed skull (115 base).
Morningstar and 3rd unwelcomed guest 2h BWs - normal (6) 2h BWs. the visitor BW is 95 att base (average) - only 22 below reverse avg, 17 below level 110 weapon.

Considering the formulas are the same (sword and axe/bw) and that it's that way with DrKs it's a fair assumption but I can't give confirmation.

TS: Like mentioned it's all a matter of speed. Blup covered all the exceptions. For the majority swords will remain the weapon of choice I'd imagine, unless you're making a 2h reverse in which case I could see you going for the axe (cause it looks awesome) or if you can get your hands on a VIP 1h axe.

Ok Thanks all for your answers, that was exactly what i needed.
So when im going to make a Pally in roughly 6 months i could get now a cheap BW compared
to an expensive sword and in 6 Months ill be fine with my choice Smile and saved some mesos.

BWs aren't cheaper right now... a 120 duck tube would cost way more than a 120 Sparta or Dragon Carabella. If you're planning ahead for the BB then you should only be looking at 1h weapons really, and likely spend your mesos on the highest w.atk fast(5) weapon.

Ya i do 1h is my way to go, especially in terms of wearing a Shield which helps now way more compared to the past when potential stats werent existent.

Well also with Guardian Paladin get loads of defensive power. So theres no reason to not be 1h/shield if a paladin.

Don't forget Shield Mastery, either. It makes an enormous difference on the damage you take post-BB.

Now I'm going to convert my Paladin from 2h to 1h, thanks to buffed Shield Mastery and Guardian. Also, despite the fact that BWs and Swords aren't having a different multiplier anymore on Big Bang, I will be a 1-handed sword user, because swords are still faster than BWs.
