[MSEA] Haunted House 2
#1
Oh, this is so fun.

I fought Olivia three times yesterday. Guess what she summoned.

Stormbreakers. I'm a Lv78 Chief Bandit. Whee.

You know what's the best part? Everyone between Lv41 to 60 are raging at the Asiasoft Forums now. Why? Because their Olivia summons Kentauruses. Yay for Nexon f***ing up again.

I don't want to know what Olivia summons for the Lv15~40 players.

I did some research, and Olivia summoned Stuffed Teddies and Stuffed Bunnies for you guys last Halloween. How fun.

Nexon seriously needs to get their act together.

Nexon: (insert Troll face)

Aren't stormbreakers level 80?
Hell I trained there at level 59, so I don't see your side of complaint.

Other than that, that's gotta suck.

Yes they are. It wasn't too bad for me, really. I'd rather get hit by them than by the bloody piano.

The Kentaurus thing really sucks for them though. =.=

Funny that the boss's summons are of a higher level than the boss.

Reminds me of bosses weirdly summoning the pirate monsters.

Why are you whining at Nexon? Nexon has nothing to do with Asiasoft's royal fuckups.

AsiaSoft only publishes the game. The development team is from Nexon. So, yeah. >.<

It's a bug I guess, similar to Masteria PQ boss summoning Froscola and other fantasy theme park monster.

Never trust Nexon as they screw up things constantly.

Edit : MSea is down currently for bug fixes, the entire channel crashed upon summoning Masteria PQ boss Rolleyes
How I wish I was online during that period of time to duplicate some items.

The reason that glitch happens is because summon skills aren't specific to monsters but rather to their "level," and the monster is assigned a level of the summon skill to use. Since skill.wz controls what gets summoned and mob.wz controls which level to point to for the monster, non-comprehensive copypasting and miscommunication between different maple versions lead to inconsistencies. For example, gMS probably didn't tell kMS that a certain level slot was used to summon boomers, and since kMS thought that slot was empty, they used it for lord pirate's summons when developing pirate pq. Then the boomer summon got copypasted over when pirate pq data showed up. None of this would be happening if different versions of maple would communicate properly though =S

I see. That explains everything, thanks!

Pity that the Asiasoft staff haven't noticed this yet though. It's totally unfair for the players between Lv41 and 60.

I know, and it is really a waste. When you die, and use up your slot ._.
