Dilemma on Decent HB Pants

Hey guys, just looking for opinions on my current situation.

So i cubed my 6% str pants on my Aran and they turned unique, surprisingly, they also had Decent hb on them, my dilemma is, i lost out on the 6% str and now i can at least get 9% str on my pants. I know you can keep the skill after you unequip the item/put it in storage/etc. But im not sure if i should risk losing HB if keeping the skill is a *glitch* to aim for 9% str, what would you guys do?

Recube my pants or try to get another separate unique pair of pants, i don't really have a lot of nx to spend, so its tough to decide, any help guys?>

This seems like a Q and A question. Not a real discussion.

I would keep Hb pants of course. It's not like Arans have Hero Hp.

Put the HB on a hot key and you can continue cubing it.

Or has this been fixed?
