Dual Blade's Tornado Spin
#1
Hello.

I'm wondering if tornado spin is really necessary for DB. I'm already used of doing Flying Assaulter + bloody storm combo, and i don't see the point in buying the CS skill book, since theres no skill book for sale in broa.

I want opnion from others, if FA + TS is better than FA + BS.

I feel like just maxing out my other skills and leaving TS at lvl 5, since FA+BS is pure ownage Hurt

I just bought the skillbook from FM and it worked. I played around with it at Galloperas for a bit and, imo, you should really get it. It rushes all those my little ponies in one place where you can get rid of them pretty easily with US / FABS.

well im lvl 108 already, and im going to start "skellegoing" with HB, so i really dont know if TS is better than BS ;x.

I will try to find the book in fm again, but broa market sucks, can't find any book for any job -_-

FA+BS gives you alot more chance of being able to uppercut, and gives you a less chance of getting hit.

FA + BS is mostly useful in a non-flat or cramped space, such as the top lane of galloperas or the 2nd and 3rd lanes of skelegons, while FA + TS is mostly useful in a flat, long area where it's beneficial to rush everything together quickly, such as oblivion, bottom lane of gallos, and the bottom lane of skelegons. FA + BS is also more relevant when you need tons of hits to kill something (FA + BS back and forth) or when you know you can 2-hit something like when you're on FC, while FA + TS is more relevant on mid-hp monsters so that you can just keep rushing things around and have them die along the way, meanwhile adding more monsters to your mob. Both skills have their uses, bloody storm might be more useful to you now, but tornado spin serves a different purpose. I would say tornado spin is pretty essential for the long run at least.

You realize that if you don't use the 3rd / 3rd+ Job SP's on TS before 4th job, you have to use 4th Job SP's on a 3rd Job skill right? :+)

i'm not quite sure you know what you're talking about. You realize that by not maxing TS he will have leftover 3rd job points which can't be used on 4th job skills? He buys the book and instantly maxes it out with his old 3rd job skillpoints...

What about Slash Storm? Doesn't it get completely replaced by Bloody Storm?
I'm level 32 currently following this build: http://ellinforest.com/forum/showthread.php?t=6188

Is it plausible to just leave Slash Storm at 1 (or at low level) and just wait till 70 for Bloody Storm? Use Slash Storm points in Endure/Nimble Body/whatever.

Bloody Storm requires 20 Slash Storm.

You just quoted me and said exactly the same... o.0

Except that you have to spend 3rd/3rd+ SP's before you can use 4th job SP's on 4th job skills after lvl 120, meaning you can't wait till lvl 121+ and enjoy 4th job skills and then later dump all 3rd/3rd+ SP's into TS...

aka you have to max TS first before advancing to 4th job...

It is necessary. I got it on my dual blade and after using it in certain high level areas, yes, it is absolutely necessary

No, you shouldn't do that. FA+TS is very, VERY useful. Even more at Time Temple. Seriously, you'll regret if you don't max it.
