Another lame response to december hackings...

No, because they just gave everyone 5k so that would be 'overkill'. Rolleyes

Their "compensation" should've been based on the character's EXP loss.

I mean, there are people who lost billions of experience. I doubt that 5k Maple Points and a week of events will make up for the loss.

I know it probably would be hard to do it, but.. really, some people lost so many things that 5k MP for them is just ridiculous.

I really hope they freaking give the victims of december something for real as compensation. For the things that I had lost I would
very low ball it to be around 100k NX.

Edit: And my loss is small compared to what others had lost in december.

On an off-topic note, the vindictus closed beta
app that I just spent 30 minutes filling out whole-heartedly just failed to process when I clicked submit! >.< Might wanna wait
if anyone is planning to try to apply this morning.

Man, I got the same message. What I'm worried about is that because Nexon is sending replies to everyone at once, I don't know if compensation will be specific to what each person lost because of these hackings. I really hope Nexon can compensate people back for this, because this was on Nexon's fault (?) I think.

People won't get special personal compensations, MS usually do not roll that way, and no it's not as easy as to say it's Nexons fault. It's the lowlife hackerscum's fault, Nexon just handle the attack poorly.

Wait but I remember on Southperry someone posted where a GM sent him NX, mesos, and scrolled items similar to what he lost. What was that about then? And can someone tell me what happened? I thought it was due to some server leak.

Yea, we do have a handful of people who get special treatment, but that does not mean pomegranate in the bigger picture. If you are not lvl 200 with a history of talking/sucking up to the GMs, then no, they will not treat your loss in any special way compared to the next dude.

I logged into my old compromised email a few days ago and noticed the update, but did not bother to log into the site and see if they put anything meaningful in the ticket. I did notice the site got a makeover over the last few months.
