Mounts and Guard Skills

Do the guard skills (Power, Magic & Meso Guard) work on Mounts now?
For example, if I have Meso Guard active and mount, then get hit, will I take a full hit to my HP or half damage (MG's effect)?

Magic Guard works while on a mount.

Pretty sure I've heard PG cancels when you get a mount. I would imagine it has something to do with not allowing players to do damage while on the mount.

No idea on Meso Guard.

You heard correctly. I kind of dislike having to recast PG after I get off my mane but hey, since I've got speed shoes now (+11 since 2 60%s failed, U/H) and I'm gonna induce an amethyst on my next overall, it's all good.

But yes, Power Guard cancels upon mounting.

That makes sense. Meso Guard should be the same since it isn't an attacking guard.

Slow is still very effective (and annoying) regardless of character speed, especially if you're used to high speeds.

Thanks for info. I'll go piggyback riding soon, knowing my guard isn't relaxed when I do.
