Youtube + Firefox not agreeing
#1
For some reason, i can't post comments on youtube, view my comments, view friend requests, or see embedded videos from youtube (the ones here on SP) on firefox. I can see all of that stuff just fine on internet explorer though which is weird.

Anyone know what might be causing this? I have no idea how I caused it. I just know I tried to post a comment on youtube one day and I couldn't. Then when I was posting the ronald jenkees videos here on SP, I couldn't see those either.

Adblock/Noscript/etc?

When did it start? Try re-installing Firefox and see if it persist. Whenever Firefox crashes on startup, I usually have YouTube open when this happens, reinstalling fixes it, without affecting my addons or settings.

If you have NoScript, hit "temp allow all scripts", or w/e it is and see if the problem persist.

I'm guessing you accidently pressed the "block" button from adblock when you are viewing videos.
Press CTRL-SHIFT-V when you are on a site that you can't see some of the components, and remove the red links.

You might have accidently installed Adblock instead of Adblock Plus as plugin on Firefox (those are 2 different plugins), happened to me once, sounds like a lot of the same issue's you're talking about! Smile
