What art style or artist is this?

I have an art project due Tuesday (it's a 104 class; I only began to rediscover my creative side). I already finished it, but can not for the life of me remember where the art style is called or who came up with it/origins. I ask because I used it in my artwork.



Anyone mind helping me? All I know is it has to do with inverting/reverting colors.
