Bigfoot PG leech not working anymore?

Scenario:
Party of 3: Hero killing Bigfoot, PG mule hitting Bigfoot and staying on map as ghost, and leech. For some reason, the leech got no exp at all. 3 times in a row.
Both Hero and PG have done it successfully many times before, they know how to do it. And yet, it doesn't seem to work anymore.

Has this happened to anyone else?

I thought Power Guard needed accuracy to hit something, just like normal attacks. If not, double check the levels? Is the PG Mule within 5 of the leecher? :x

I've been leeching the past week and nothing's been wrong. Everything you said is right, so I'm surprised it's not working.

Only two things that could be wrong are: (1) making sure PG is actually on when you take touch damage (Lv. 1 PG goes away really fast, but I doubt you'd make this mistake), or the more likely (2) making sure PG is within 5 levels of the leecher (like Hazzy said).

Just leeched somebody last night, still works.
