Balrog Boss : I got some questions.

Hi, so I searched alot on the forums and couldn't find a thread with a guide or explanation regarding the ballrog boss.

1.is it just a boss or a PQ?
2.where do you do it?
3. any pre requisites?
4. whats the differance between 50-70 and 70-??? ( whats the 70+ range? 70-120 or 70-200? )
5.do drops bomb like zakum or somthing else?
6.Are there any guides? links?
7. - off topic but , whats the strongest NPC attack pot, stackable and non stacking.
8. is there a thread listing what people got from the new maple nx suprise thingys... the ones that cost 500 each from CS under the event tab.

2.where do you do it? The entrace to Balrog is branched off at the map, "Another Path," deep in Sleepy Wood's dungeon.
3. any pre requisites? Level 50+
4. whats the differance between 50-70 and 70-??? ( whats the 70+ range? 70-120 or 70-200? ) 50 ~ 70 is easy mode (I assume less HP and not as good of a bonus from killing it) and 70 ~ 200 is normal mode
5.do drops bomb like zakum or somthing else? Drops come from some box or chest that you break open when you get to the bonus room after killing Balrog.
6.Are there any guides? links? I don't have any~
7. - off topic but , whats the strongest NPC attack pot, stackable and non stacking. There is no attack potion that stacks with anything. The highest attack potion in Global is a Cider (+20 weapon attack for 30 minutes), which you can get from Shouwa.

He means that stack more than 1 in a slot. 12 Attack warrior potions stack 100/slot , ciders are 1/slot

Thanks, but I went to showa and it says increases wep atk for 5 min, it dosn't specify how much. anyways I can see by the 300+ in my range that it is around 20 attack .
Thanks alot! also , are there any organized ballrog PQ runs? I wanna do it till I get the bain polearm but If I go with random people it'll be a free for all when items drop .

Normal is actually 50-200 and can only be accessed in channels 6 and 7, while easy can be accessed from any other channel. The difference between easy and normal is that in easy, your damage is unrestricted, balrog has less hp, you get 15/20 minutes as opposed to 20/30 minutes, you can only take 3-6 people, the lightning damage is lowered, you get less drops, you only get 260k exp for completing it compared to 520k in normal, and DR does less damage and starts at a different point of hp. Also, you can access the underground temple through manji in perion.

Don't count on getting a bain polearm by the way, I've killed like over 50 balrogs and have never seen a bain weapon drop, and I doubt there're more than two or three bain weapons in gMS.
