They're DEFINITELY WAY more fun to play than a Hero, but in terms of bossing, Heroes would probably be a better choice, since they can tank more hits and deal a constant, steady single target DPS, where as an Aran's would be more unstable and could die easier, due to having much lower HP.

which can be fixed by hp washing, i agree though, i had a LOT of trouble zaking(body) due to lack of hp, overswing is weird and kind of make u move forward and u cant do things like hugging 3rd body to save urself from stuns and keep ur combo. I washed, now i find zak extremely easy and can keep my combo for almost the whole run. Aran buffed > hero for sure or at least with SE definetely.

The thing is, not everyone can afford HP washing. A basic level 150 of each with equal stats equips, the Aran would be better in multi-target training and probably lower, more unimportant bosses like Papulatus, where as Heroes would be better with single target DPS and would have a much easier time at Zakum, Horntail, Pink Bean, and the like.

But if need be the Aran could replace the hero anytime.

Heck, my plan for Aran is when i hit 128-131 just grinding at obliv and selling the PoTs, then using MTS for conversion. And HP aside, I believe Aran's would be better in HT and the like, due to better buff from SE.

But if you don't have the funding to get 17x accuracy without adding too much dex in the first place, that's not an option, instead you're stuck at crappy regrets.

Aran's can never party at Pianus or solo until 10k HP. I realized this and it depressed me for a few minutes. Then I remembered, why would I want to go to Pianus?
