Best idea ever Nexon.

She's not a GM though, so there was no reason to scare her off.
It would have been better to try to sit back for some idle chitchat, ask her how the job is and stuff. Once you say "now give us Neo Tokyo" she's probably thinking you're just some annoying noob. She can't give you Neo Tokyo, not even an actual GM would listen to that request. She might have been interested if you just chatted normally for a while with her.

tl;dr Don't be a plantain to some random person you don't even know, especially when they can't even have any influence on what you requested.

Agreed, since when will GMs ever be direct and upfront about upcoming content? "I took a Showa this morning" is an excellent example of that. Nexon employees have said this time and time again: we're not going to tell you what's coming up even if you beg; shut up and quit asking us for release dates. The only default responses they have are witty ways to dodge the question like that Showa example; just leaving people awkwardly to be hanging- which I, as someone who's spent a good share of time posting on the Nexon forums, can easily tell from when people created countless threads about "WEN'S ARAN COMING OUT?!!?!?!1one" or "WEN'S PIRATES COMING OUT??!?!?!?1one", and of course, the default systematic response that NXProse and many other GMs I can assure have had to say when talking about what's in upcoming patches or content:

[Image: HaruhiSuzumiya-ClassifiedInformatio.jpg]
Yes, with that sort of pose and expression too. The guys at Nexon are obviously sly enough to sidestep questions by having a sweet, playful tone when they have to bring the inevitable "Can't tell you our release plans".

And besides, this is a MapleWatch Leaf Brigade member. Again: like DualReaver said, HELLO? It's free slave labor for Nexon; these guys do get in contact with GMs, but they have no role whatsoever with development or whoever decides what content should be coming out. Mark is right when he said

They're also ordinary players like any of us here. They also have no influence whatsoever on what Nexon does like any other ordinary player; Nexon will just never step aside their business plans just because of what one guy requested in an inconsiderate manner. Since when is it okay to start nagging someone you just met to go do something they have no influence on? They're human beings, for God's sake; and you should treat people with respect instead of nagging them like an obnoxious idiot for something you want out of them. Try to at least spark up a normal conversation instead of loading requests and demands on a person.

Why does everyone keep calling the "MWLB" GM's?

Because Nexon advertised the event to be GMs running around Maplestory, and then decided to use the MWLB to do their dirty work. GG Nexon. Very well played.

Can't say it would have been any better though, I'm sure the real GMs suck at Omok as well.

There was an event where GM's (or MWLB) were suppose to come out and play Omok with players? I need to sign in a bit more...

Thanks for the link. The link clearly said that MWLB will be involved in the event, and there is even a paragraph saying that the MWLB will be the ones playing Omok, not GM's. So, I don't see where the confusion or criticism could be coming from.

It's cause we don't read the fine print all the time. xD

They should hire better Omok'ers if they're going to challenge people.

Vesteta has a horrible record.

So Nexon usually makes sure the GM's don't run around the Maple World. Interesting...

Or they should just get all their applicants together, then have them play an omok tournament, then make the top 12 or whatever brigade members, then write "creative", original stories about how they caught hackers and wanted to do something. CHANGE THE WORLD!
