Maplestory Laggy?

Is it just me or is maple just lagging really bad? I have restarted my computer, the router, wireless, everything, and I still experience awful lag every two to three seconds.

Yes, very much so.
Everyone in my alliance is complaining, and judging by smegas, the whole server (at least) is suffering.
Nexon's "hardware upgrade" seems to have been an unqualified success.

When you play a class that needs to chain its attacks together, lag isn't the best sort of thing to have inbetween.

Lagging here too. That's why I'm just getting Maha Charms and hoping for Karstans.

Haven't been able to do anything in the last three and a half hours. Nexon needs to fix this.

seems they downgraded their servers instead of upgrading like they said they were doing. wouldn't surprise me to see nexon do this to save a few dollars.

Lag just builds up through the day and peaks at about this time of the day. The situation is pretty bad.

i think its just a server load thing, i play in the afternoon and its all fine for me, but by the time im on every one is sleeping

It's affecting DFO too.

It can't be peak times concern. I've been playing at these times since we got Aran and it's never been this laggy. It's only ever been this laggy during 2x events and even then its bearable. This is ridiculous.

They did that maintenance thing that lasted like.. 14 hours (?) to prepare for the lag issues that were bound to happen due to the holidays. More free time = more people playing maple at the same time = more lag, but that maintenance was supposed to have 'fixed' this anticipated increase in maplers.
