Serious question, how has MS changed since August 2009?
#1
Me and a friend wanted to start playing again. I quit around August 2009, I had a couple urges to play again, per-se. I logged in once, and got bored after 5 minutes after staring at the typical Henesys NX-whoring fgt sitting on one of their almighty 100m+ worth of chairs or something.

But yeah, I sorta want to get my Night Lord up to 140, at least. Maybe make a male Night Walker while I'm at it, but I'm curious as to how MS has changed. The reasons I'm asking is because I think I had decent gear as on August 2008, but everything went through the sh'ts as standards are now upped. I had a 17 att SCG, and I think some relatively decent Thief gear.

Do people NX-whore more now than before because of the economy and new scrolls? Last I checked, they release that item in the CS that boosted your "available slots" up by 1 per use or something. Whatever-hammer.

So yeah, if somebody could inform me, I'd be grateful. I'd like to know how Scania's current market-economy is too. @_@;

Far as i know the only gear changing thing was hammers, and you're already aware of that.

Other than that, you quit during the best time. Lots of s'hit patches. Aside from scarlion helmets, which are not that big a deal AT ALL, there are no major changes to anything at your level that i can remember.

Everything is basically the same, same amount of nx whoring as ever. Your mesos are worth less now though, and I think we see a decline of active players. We have had some nifty patching but nothing to make it more fun to play a higher leveled character, and that might be why less people play lately.
Aran in all its glory, but I want to play on my night lord without having to glue myself to a broken ultimatespammer or spend amazing amounts of money on 2x crap just to get 5-10% per hour. For you at such a low level, there's plenty to do. Especially if you've yet to earn stuff like a MoN or maker yourself some nice gear and a reverse lampion.

Market getting more expensive imo, certain items are dropping such as Belts though. NX Sells at a 1:11-12 ratio, but should drop since Black Friday is over... but Christmas Sale might happen this year...

With all the whisper spam hacking previously, HT skills are staying steady but expensive.

Attack belts, affordable 40 atk 15 minute pots, 50% scrolls (10% stats) in terms of in game items.

You know, now that I think about it, we havent gotten that much since August 2009...and has it only really been 4 months since you left? lol.

Yeah, it's only been about 4 months since I quit, Jackk. I went on like 'once' to check on something for about a minute or two after I quit, and then I logged off. Nothing special. -shrug-

I'll wait til Attack-belts are really cheap before I hop on and buy one. Still saving to get one of those .....70 attack claws too.

Uh, attack belts are cheap now. The event ended not too long ago. It'll be the same as saying "oh i'm not gonna buy an SCG i'll just wait for them to deflate" after set 1 was discontinued.

The 40 att pots aren't that big a deal by the way. If you can afford to waste 1.5m per pot, go for it. If you have a good amount from the event like i do, then you'll run out eventually and they won't be easily accessible anymore.

Pyramid PQ will release permanently obtainable, but also harder to obtain, attack belts. That will affect Witch Belts in the long run.

I will enjoy everyone that says this crying when the rate to get them is even lower than the rumors.

Consider again the SCG example. They are not coming out in BULK anymore. SCGs were spit out for a certain time, and then stopped. (JUST LIKE WITCH BELTS DEAR GOD) They were released yet again but in way smaller quantity (JUST LIKE PYRAMID PQ BELTS DEAR GOD). Small enough to not drastically change market prices. (JUST LIKE WHAT WILL HAPPEN WITH PYRAMID PQ BELTS DEAR GOD)
