It's also mislabeled in that as far as I know, it's not a dating sim either.

(And Visual Novels != Dating Sims... Harvest Moon is more of a dating sim than a good amount of Visual Novels, even ones that occasionally contain dating, like Clannad)

I didn't read anything in this thread. I'd just like to take this post to say that Ever17 was a wonderful VN, and there was no nudity or anything like that whatsoever in it. I've no idea why the hell they'd market it was "Adult" and "Uncensored". Hell, I wouldn't even group it in the "dating sim" category.

I'd rather not turn an Ever17 thread into a debate thread over this. I will tell you that Ever17 does kind of bring this up though, but I'm not spoiling anything in about the story in this thread just to bring up a point with you.

But that's the thing, just because it's a VN doesn't make it a dating sim. I certainly wouldn't label Ever17 as a dating sim, even if there are different routes for the different female characters. It's much more story based than it is loveydovey based.
